Katti has been one of my most fulfiling experiences of working on a narrative short film. Born from deeply personal experiences, the script resonated with me as soon as I read it.
Katti brought with it a unique set of producing challenges - creating sets to resemble India while filming in Los Angeles, as well as managing a large cast and crew including multiple young children on set within complex time constraints.
As Associate Producer for the film, I took the lead in creating the crowdfunding campaign, handling paperwork for minor actors, as well as coordinating with all background and supporting cast.
On set, I also worked as part of the direction team and one of the BTS photographers for the film.
